ha ha...Mr Gan... you asked a good question....
Motion sensors have some problem...
1 --> it has a limited distance to detect the motion
e.g) while you are playing a wii, you cannot stand or sit too far away, it may not detect the controller movement ...
2 --> if a motion sensor for the automatic door is not mounted securely, normal vibration, sign, plants and neon light can trigger the door open.
e.g)this is very dangerous, if a customer pauses or their forward motion stops, and a motion sensor is all you have, the door will close on that customer and could cause an injury.
3 --> It cannot detect the small objects such as insects or raindrop.
So Mr.Gan do you much more clearer about motion sensor already???
if still have any question, i would like you to leave me some comment... thank you....

Interesting information on the limitations. However i didnt know the door can injure somebody so easily. Unless maybe a door like for a elevator or a really big door perhaps that would do. btw nice blog.~
yes i agree with mr. William. the limitations are troublesome, perhaps you can give some solutions for the limitations?
